PRIVATE TRAINING

Every dog is different and each family’s needs vary. Private training is tailored to meet the individual needs of you and your canine companion. Sessions can be conveniently scheduled to fit in with your busy life and we will work at a pace that is comfortable for you and your dog.

Behavior consultations and private training are available in your home or at our office. Discounts are available for packages of 4 or more sessions.

UNLEASHED! BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM @ Central Animal Hospital provides the best of both worlds.  In addition to the peace of mind of knowing that your dog is being well cared for by a loving and professional veterinary staff, you can also feel confident that your dog is being emotionally and physically challenged with a positive reinforcement training program.  The Board & Train Program provides a fun, consistent and stimulating training experience for your dog.

Training Options

• 2 Week Program—In just 2 short weeks, your dog will learn every behavior that a standard 7-week group class covers.  These behaviors include sit, down, stay with some distractions, wait, leave-it, Go To Bed and the foundation for Loose Leash Walking and Come.  Your dog will be worked on a daily basis and in a variety of places.  In addition, there are 3 Instructors on staff at Unleashed and each one will work with your dog; thereby generalizing the obedience with different people.  The 2 weeks of training is followed up by a mandatory lesson with an Instructor from Unleashed so that we can show you how to reinforce the training.  $1350.00 for 2 weeks includes boarding and training.

• Longer Programs—Although 2 weeks is a minimum for Board & Train, dogs staying for longer will have the opportunity to really solidify and proof all of their new commands, with special attention being paid to their Loose Leash Walking and Come exercises. 

Unleashed! Staff will be contacting you every few days to report on the progress of your dog. 

What if you do not want the full 2 weeks of training??

Dogs learn through consistent, fair, repetitive and fun guidance.  We, at  Unleashed,  feel that 2 weeks is the bare minimum for a dog to ascertain the behaviors.  Therefore, it’s unfair to the dog and not in the owners’ best interest to pay for training that won’t have time to generalize.

• Spot Training—Spot training, or board and train on a much more limited basis, is exclusively available to dogs who have completed the minimum 2 week program or have taken a beginning level class at Unleashed.  Spot training may consist of training every other day or just once or twice a week.
