Puppy Play School  (puppies 10 - 16 weeks)

A safe environment for puppies. Socialization, training, handling exercises and a question & answer period with the instructor. $15.00 per class drop-in. Proof of 2 sets of DHLPP shots required  (check registration form for skip dates)                                                 Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm   

Levels (New)

Levels Training is a multi-tiered, ongoing obedience program offering the ultimate in flexibility and designed for the busy owner. Each level introduces new and more complex skills for both dogs and owners. Dogs move to the next level after they have demonstrated proficiency of specific skill requirements in their current level. Our flexible schedule allows for you 7 your pup to attend the classes at your Level on different days, times and even miss a week or two without falling behind or attend more frequently enhancing their learning experience. It also benefits dogs by allowing them to learn at their own pace so they can spend time focusing on areas where they need the most help.

 Start at any time by attending any Unleashed! People only orientation or be a current Unleashed! client. You can purchase 6 or 12 lessons in advance for a discounted rate or pay on a drop-in basis.  

Blissful Bullys (New)

Blissful Bullys is for dogs that are hard to control and train around other dogs.  

This class is for “Bully Breeds:” Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Mastiffs, Bulldogs, Boxers, Rottweilers and mixes of those breeds. This class will cover basic obedience and give owners the skills necessary to manage their Bully Dogs through positive reinforcement training techniques. Clients will be required to keep their dogs in crates during portions of this class, so dogs will need to be crate trained. The first class is a people only orientation and will be approximately 2hours; all subsequent classes will be 90 minutes including set up of working stations. A consultation or referral from an, Unleashed Instructor is required prior to enrollment in this class.

Downtown Dogs

This adventurous advanced obedience class takes to the streets of Petaluma. Practice long-distance commands, stays with real life distractions outside local  storefronts, and general street manners.

Pre-Aglilty

A fun way to improve your obedience!  Teach your dog to go over obstacles, through tunnels & over jumps.

CGC & S.T.A.R PUPPY:The American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test is a certification program that tests dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed atmosphere. It identifies and rewards dogs that have the training and demeanor to be reliable family members as well as community members in good standing.

The purpose of the CGC Test is to ensure that our favorite companion, the dog, can be a respected member of the community because it is trained and conditioned to act mannerly in the home, in public places and in the presence of other dogs. Some therapy dog groups require the CGC as a prerequisite for therapy work; there are CGC neighborhoods, and hiking trails. Providing a CGC certificate to prospective landlords has helped many people obtain living space with their dogs.
